Katy is one of our talented employees who came to our facility already with a background in laser therapy and pain management. She began her career 10 years ago as an ICU veterinary technician, utilizing a handheld laser for canine and feline patients to accelerate post-op healing and reduce the pain and inflammation associated with acute soft tissue injuries and arthritis. Katy then decided to switch careers, but maintained her passion for healthcare and pursued a degree in business and healthcare management. She then spent the next few years as the clinical and administrative coordinator for a busy neurology and pain management office prior to coming to OrthoLazer to combine her extensive experience with laser therapy, patient care, and office management. Katy is our “jack of all trades” and can routinely be seen outside of her office either interacting with patients, answering phones, managing the reception desk, and running the MLS M8 Laser. Katy enjoys spending her free time exercising, reading, and relaxing with her two dogs, Calypso and Athena.
