OrthoLazer Oak Brook

My husband was referred to OrthoLazer by Illinois bone and joint institute. He’s had the gel injection twice, and although it did help for a while, it was painful to receive and didn’t last very long. That all being said, within a week of getting the laser treatments and using the sleeve for his knee at night, he has done a total 180! He has mild to moderate arthritis, and he’s been limping and struggling with stiffness in the knee for over 5 years. Ortholazer was a gamble, since insurance doesn’t cover it. But he was willing to try something new, and especially noninvasive. He hasn’t been almost pain free in over 5 years! He’s actually going to the gym and working out to strengthen his legs and knees to help make this a lasting change. The staff at OrthoLazer has been more than welcoming and supportive too. We are always greeted by Kevin, who is super informative, patient and kind. Our laser girl is Stephanie and she’s great to chat with and share laughs with. Absolutely a pleasure every time. Im telling friends about this because I think more people should be aware of this option for arthritis pain. It can be debilitating and hopeless when you struggle with a pain like that. This treatment has given my husband hope that he CAN feel better, and it’s changed his attitude to be more positive when it comes to his knee. He has one week left of treatment and the results already speak for themselves. No regrets going through with OrthoLazer! I came to OrthoLazer 2 weeks after foot surgery on 3 toes.This was my 1st experience with an infrared lazer treatment to aid healing.Brianna my regular tech,was outstanding with professionalism and kindness. These treatments seemed to truly help my rt foot to heal quicker with less pain, stiffness, and overall healing. All staff members I met, Kevin and Stephanie were welcoming,and knowledgeable. OrthoLazer is AMAZING! I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder and the first orthopedic doctor recommended that I get a cortisone shot and then physical therapy. After doing a few weeks of PT, my pain got worse. I went back to my doctor and he recommended surgery. I decided to get a second opinion and my new orthopedic doctor suggested that I go to OrthoLazer, get 12 rounds of laser and then start PT. He explained that my pain was caused by the inflammation and that the laser would help. I just finished my 12 rounds today and I feel GREAT. I can now fully move my arm/shoulder. I will now start PT and feel confident that I will be back to 100% soon! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND OrthoLazer! Great place and the employees are all wonderful!

Had 6 treatments after knee replacement surgery. Ortho was recommended by surgeon to aid in healing and swelling reduction. Knee nearly healed in 3 weeks. Owner Kevin very hospitable and professional and operates a very clean and organized facility. Lab Tech Stephanie, along with Lab Techs Jasmine and Bree very knowledgeable and personable in providing treatment. Very satisfied with the service and environment and I highly recommend this facility and staff.

If you’re seeking pain relief, this is where to get an evaluation. Had treatment on two knee replacements, one for hypersensative nerve repair and for a new second knee replacement. Great results. First knee replacement symptoms 95% releived and not dominating my daily activities anymore. Less pain and very positive healing on new replacement. Technicians very professional, understanding and kind. Treatment is painless. Treatment is affordable. Overall experience very, very good, would recommend OrthoLazer.

Love this place! Staff is great across the board. It is quick and painless. I was basically at a point where I couldn’t bend my ankle and now am back in the gym again in no time! Healing process was much quicker than I anticipated as well. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

I would highly recommend OrthoLazer for soft tissue repair. I had pain in my knee, termed runner’s knee. I went to physical therapy and I had a gel injection, but the pain lingered. I had this knee pain for 6 months. Then, I went to OrthoLazer. As I was receiving the laser treatments, my knee began to improve and I am now pain free and back to running. The treatments completely healed my knee!

Quick take away: yes, 100% “worth it” having an improved quality of life.Pros: I was initially skeptical. Yet the FDA approved treatments with a doctor’s referral are very much worth it. I felt the treatments working on and after each visit. Each time there was noticeable and progressive improvement; less swelling, pain and better functioning.Con: self pay and not yet widely available to more people who live further away who need this treatment

My surgeon recommended OrthoLazer as part of my healing process after my total hip replacement. My surgeon explained it briefly but then I got a call from Kevin from OrthoLazer. He explained everything in detail and was so easy to chat with. The process is painless and each session is about 20 minutes. Kevin, Randy, Connor and Joslyn were wonderful…they took their time, made a connection and genuinely cared about my healing process. I fully believe that this process helped with my healing, internally and the physical scar itself. I will be undergoing the same surgery for my other hip in the near future and will 100% head right to OrthoLazer. I would recommend OrthoLazer to everyone I truly care about. Thank you!

My daughter had surgery and the surgeon recommended OrthoLazer for therapy. She just finished her final session and stated that she did feel better after the sessions. The only downside is that our insurance did not cover this service so it was all out of our pocket.

I recently had a total knee replacementsurgery. A few days after surgery and upon the recommendation of my surgeon, I submitted to (6) laser treatments of my new knee. As promised, the treatment was in fact completely pain free, aided in wound healing, and increased my range of motion significantly. I was initially skeptical, but I couldn’t be happier with the laser treatments. Also, the staff at OrthoLazer was kind and compassionate.

Very friendly staff. Treatments helped with a rotator cuff tear in conjunction with PT and PRP injections. Really helped accelerate the healing process.

The staff was great.. The people were kind and helpful, and the treatments were simple and pain free. I believe the treatments helped with the swelling and pain of my total knee replacement.

I used OrthoLazer after my recent shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff as well as a SLAP tear. As suggested by my doctor I went for a total of 6 laser sessions over 10 days, doing the first session 3 days after my surgery date. My recovery has been miraculous. My pain was so well controlled that I stopped prescription pain meds 5 days post-op and stopped all over the counter meds about 2 weeks post op. I contrast this with a similar surgery 7 years ago on my other shoulder and the difference is astounding. For that surgery I had to get a refill on my prescription pain meds and was in pain and absolutely miserable for weeks and weeks. I am actually sleeping fairly well and have resumed many of my normal activities (albeit still in a sling). I could not more highly recommend using OrthoLazer for post-op pain relief – it has made my recovery better than I could have ever imagined.

Laser helped me so much in my recovery; I had severe post operative bruising and swelling and after several sessions the bruising went away within days! It has helped me regain my motion as well

Anything that speeds up healing time, I’m all for it and low and behold the results are in. After a total knee replacement, the incision at 3 weeks of healing time looks like 5 weeks of healing time.

The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Every session on time and efficient. I had partial knee replacement 2 1/2 weeks ago, way ahead of initial targets. Virtually no swelling or pain now. Was walking 2-3 miles a day within a week. Met 6 week flexibility and strength targets in days. Strongly recommend.
