I’m a cranky old man with an angry rotator cuff on its third go-around with surgery. The therapists and staff at OrthoLazer helped lighten my load with their insightful observations and enjoyable demeanor.Laser therapy for common folk (i.e., affordable) is a newly FDA-approved treatment. I can’t tell if it’s a cure-all, but I wake up with less stiffness, am not afraid of falling down the stairs (again), and am told it improves blood flow and reduces inflammation. (Things you can’t see from the outside.)It’s a brief, non-invasive procedure. The Oak Brook location appears to be spanking new and has an awesome playlist. It also happens to be 7 minutes from my house, but another patient commented about needing snacks for her 90-minute drive home, so people are willing to invest time and money into the effort. So if you’re looking to speed your own recovery and have tried everything else in the book, consider adding this treatment to your regimen.(FWIW, I still have Fat Adolescent Trauma, so either plan to wear apparel that sufficiently exposes the affected area, as shown here, or prepare to disrobe accordingly. It can’t see through your clothes.)Here’s to your health!
